Ingredients
- ¼ K raw Kondai Kadalai / red chana (whole bengal gram soaked overnight)
- 1K (French Beans, Cauliflower, snake gourd (cut in 1inch pcs)
- 1/2 Onion & 1 Tomato (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
- ¼ tsp Mustard seeds
- Curry leaves 5-6
- 1/3 k Coconut (Grind the coconut along with a little water and take out thick coconut milk)
- Salt as per taste
- Water – as required
Method
- Pressure cook the soaked bengal gram adding enough water for 3 to 4 whistles.
- In a pan give a tadka of oil add mustard seeds, curry leaves, onion and fry till light brown add chopped tomatoes, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and mash well.
- Then add all the vegetables and mix well.
- Add a cup of water and cook the veggies on medium flame till the vegetables are soft.
- Now add the cooked chana (Kadalai) and allow it to boil.
- Finally, add coconut milk and let it boil and serve.
