Upwas Chilla

Ingredients

  • Buckwheat – 2 tbsp
  • Sanwa millet (sama) – 2 tsp
  • Low fat curds (dahi) – 2 tbsp
  • Ginger – green chilli paste  – 1/4th tsp
  • Doodhi grated  – ½ kg
  • Carrot grated – ¼ kg
  • Chopped coriander (dhania) – 1/4th tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking – 1 tsp

Method

  1. Combine the buckwheat, curds, sama millet with ½ cup of water and mix well.
  2. Allow it to soak for 2 hours. Liquidize this mixture in a blender till it is a smooth purée.
  3. Pour it into a bowl and add the ginger – green chilli paste, carrot, coriander and salt and mix well.
  4. Cook the chilla on both sides using a little oil, till both sides are golden brown.
  5. Repeat to make more chillas.
