Tinde Low Cal Sabji

Ingredients

  • Apple gourds / tinda (peeled and chopped) ½ kg
  • Dudhi (peeled and chopped)- ½ kg
  • Beaten curd 1/3 kg
  • Mustard seed 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves 5
  • Green chilli chopped 1 pc
  • Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
  • Oil ½ tsp
  • Hing a pinch
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  • Water – as required
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Heat oil, add hing, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let the seeds splutter.
  2. Add curry leaves, chilli, gourds, turmeric powder, salt & mix well.
  3. Add ¼ K water, Cover and cook till its done.
  4. Stir in curd and simmer for a minute, garnish with chopped coriander leaves
  5. Serve hot.
