Super Filler Broth (Serves 2)


  • 1½  cup finely chopped mixed vegetables(French beans, carrots, zucchini, broccoli)
  • Corn flr ½  – 1tsp
  • ¼ cup moong sprouts
  • 1/3  cup raw/cooked noodles
  • 1 tsp garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp ginger (finely chopped)
  • 2 small green chillies (finely chopped)
  • 1-2 Kashmiri chillies (whole)
  • 1 tsp celery or 1 tbsp fresh coriander (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp vinegar/ lemon
  • ½ tsp soya sauce
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • Salt to taste


  1. Boil the noodles and keep aside. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté Kashmiri chillies, garlic, ginger and green chillies for 1 minute.
  2. Add the vegetables and sprouts and sauté for another minute.
  3. Cook till the vegetables are tender but not overcooked.
  4. Add 3 cups of water along with all other ingredients except celery.
  5. Prepare a corn flour paste using ¾ cup of water and add this to the vegetables.
  6. Keep stirring well for about 5 minutes, to allow proper mixing of corn flour.
  7. Add the noodles and bring the stew to a boil and allow to simmer for about 15 minutes or until the vegetables are done.
  8. Once done, add celery, salt and pepper to the stew and serve hot.
