INGREDIENTS
- 1 Cup sprouted Mooong (whole green gram)
- 1/2 Cup finely chopped Palak (Spinach)
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp fruit salt
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp Besan
- 1/2 tsp Asafoetida (hing)
- 2-3 green Chillies
- 3-4 curry leaves
- Oil for greasing
METHOD
- Combine the sprouted Moong, Palak, green Chillies in a blender and add little water to make a smooth paste.
- Transfer the paste in to bowl, add Besan, Salt along with water and mix well.
- Add the fruit salt.
- Pour the batter in to a greased thali.
- Steam in a steamer till the Dhoklas are cooked.
- Heat the Oil in a small pan add the sesame seeds, Asafoetida, Curry leaves and green Chillies and saute on a medium flame.
- Pour this tempering over the Dhoklas, cool slightly and cut in to equal diamond shaped pieces.
- Serve with green chutne.
