Soya Poha


  • ½ k soya granules
  • ½ tsp oil
  • ½ k onion
  • 1k mix veges (cabbage, capsicum, French beans)
  • 1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
  • 2-3  curry leaves
  • Turmeric powder
  • Chilli powder
  • Mustard seeds
  • Hing
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt-as per taste
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander for the Garnish


  1. Soak the Soya granules in 2 cups of warm water for 30 minutes.
  2. Drain and squeeze well. Keep aside.
  3. Heat the oil and add the mustard seeds, curry leaves, hing, green chillies, turmeric powder, chilli powder, onions and all the veges sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the Soya granules, coriander, lemon juice and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve immediately garnished with coriander.
