Soya Chunks Subzi

Ingredients

  • Soy chunks [nuggets] – 1/3 k
  • Green chili [chopped] – 1 no
  • Onion [chopped] – ½ k
  • Tomato [chopped] – 1 k
  • Cauliflower + broccoli (florets)- 1k boiled
  • Cumin seeds-½ tsp, coriander powder – 1 tsp
  • Red Chili powder – ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Ginger- Garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tsp
  • Oil – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – as per taste

Method

  1. Soak the soya chunks in some hot water, for 15 min.
  2. Squeeze the excess water from the chunks and rinse it twice in normal water & keep it aside.
  3. Grind onion, tomato & green chili to a fine paste.
  4. Heat oil, add cumin seeds & saute, then add onion-tomato paste, ginger garlic paste and saute well.
  5. Add all the masalas and saute for a minute, add some water, soy chunks & boiled vegs.
  6. Simmer for 5 min.
  7. Serve hot.
