Sindhi Kadhi

Ingredients

  • Mustard seeds ½ tsp
  • Methi
  • Clove 1
  • Tuj 1
  • 1 black pepper
  • Pinch of hing
  • 1 tsp chana flour
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 tbsp raw chana dal
  • Curry leaves
  • Kokam or imli
  • Coriander
  • Jiggery (optional)
  • Veggies (broccoli, tendli, French beans, cauliflower)

Method

  1. Heat ¼ tsp of oil.
  2. Put mustard seeds, clove, methi, black pepper, tuj in it.
  3. Add pich of hing & veggies then add chana dal.
  4. Then pour ½ cup of water to cook veggies and chana dal.
  5. Add tomato puree (mix besan in some quantity of tomato puree) and let it boil.
  6. Garnish with coriander.
