Ingredients
- Fresh Mustard leaves /Sarson (chopped) – 1K
- Spinach- ½ K, besan-1 tsp
- Bathua(Optional) – ½ k
- Boiled Corn-¼ k
- Ginger paste- 1tsp
- Onion (finely chopped) – ½
- Tomato(finely chopped) -1
- Green chilli chopped -1/2 tsp
- Oil – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – to taste
Method
- Heat 1L water in a pot.
- When the water comes to a boil, add the chopped greens, green chillies, cover and cook till the greens become soft.
- Remove from heat and churn all the greens.
- Add besan & mix well.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add ginger, onions, tomatoes, corn & saute.
- Transfer the saag from the earthen pot to the pan.
- Cook for 5-10 minutes.
- Add salt and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish and serve hot.
