Ingredients
- Tur dal (Soaked for 1hr) – ¼ k
- Drumsticks( boiled) – 1/2 stick
- Tomato & Onion (each chopped) – ½k
- Cubed Mixed Veges (dudhi, brinjal, pumpkin, baby corn) – 1K
- Oil – 1 tsp, Curry leaves – 4
- Asafoetida, Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
- Tamarind pulp Sambar Masala – 1tsp
- Dry Red Chilli-1
- Chilli Powder -1tsp
- Turmeric powder (Haldi) – A pinch, Chopped coriander (Dhania)-1/2 tsp
Method
- Take oil in pressure cooker, heat oil, mustard seeds let them flutter, add curry leaves, asafoetida, dry red chilli & add onion, saute it for a while.
- Add tomatoes and other veggies and sauté.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, sambar masala, chilli powder and tur dal add 2 cups water and pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistles.
- Open and add boiled drumstick and tamarind pulp and let it simmer on low flame for 5 mins.
- Add coriander and serve hot.
