Ingredients
- ¾ cup mixed lettuce leaves
- 1 toasted bread (croutons)
- 1/3 k cucumber
- ½ cup mixed red
- Yellow and green bell peppers(chopped)
- 1 medium tomato (chopped)
- 1/3k cabbage
Dressing
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ¼ k pomegranet
- ¼ tsp dried basil
- ½ tsp grated garlic
- Salt to taste
Method
- Immerse the chopped lettuce leaves in ice cold water and refrigerate (to keep them crisp).
- Mix the vegetables, croutons in a big bowl.
- For the dressing, mix all the ingredients in a bottle and shake well to make a thick dressing.
- Add the dressing and the lettuce leaves to the bowl of vegetables just before serving.
