INGREDIENTS
• For the muthias:
• Jowar flour – 1 tbsp
• Grated cabbage – 1 tbsp
• Low-fat curds – 1 tsp
• Chopped coriander – 1 tbsp
• Lemon juice – 1/2 tbsp
• Ginger-green chilli paste – ½ tsp
• Garlic cloves – 2no.
• Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
• Salt to taste
• Coriander to garnish – 1 tbsp chopped
• For the tempering:
• Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
• Asafoetida – ¼ tsp
• Curry leaves – 3 to 4 no.
• Oil – ½ tsp
DIRECTIONS
Step 1 For the muthias:
Step 2 Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and knead to make a soft dough using enough water and make rolls
Step 3 Place the rolls on a steaming dish and steam for 5-7 minutes till firm.
Step Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and add the cumin seeds. When they crackle, add the asafoetida and curry leaves
Step 5 Add the muthias and saute over a low flame till they are lightly browned.
Step 6 Serve hot, garnished with the coriander.
