Ingredients
- Jowar atta – ½ of ¼ k
- Ragi atta – ½ of ¼ k
- Water – 1L
- Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
- Jeera – ½ tsp
- Green chilli (chopped) – 1
- Pinch of Hing
- Haldi powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Oil – 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves – 4
- Salt as per taste
Method
- In a vessel take oil, add jeera, haldi, green chilli, water and salt, allow it to boil.
- As it gets boiled take the vessel away from heat and start adding jowar flour, ragi flour gradually stirring it with no lumps.
- In a steamer, empty the khichu mixture in a dish. Keep that dish to steam for around 10 – 15 mins.
- You can sprinkle red chilli powder on top.
- Serve hot.
