Oats Moongdal Tikki

Ingredients

  • ¼ k yellow moong dal
  • 1 tbsp oats
  • 1 cup mix veg (finely chopped cabbage, capsicum, French beans, little carrot)
  • 1 tbsp grated onions
  • 1 tbsp curd
  • Chilli powder
  • Garam masala
  • Turmeric
  • Salt
  • Ginger-garlic paste to taste
  • Few finely chopped green chillies
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander
  • ½ tsp oil for cooking

Method

  1. Clean, wash and semi cook the moong dal and half crush it.
  2. Then add oats and the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture equal portions and shape each portion into round flat tikki.
  4. Cook each tikki on a non-stick tawa using ½ tsp oil.
