Multigrain Khichdi

Ingredients

  • Mix together (Udad dal, chana dal, y. moong dal, tur dal) + phada + little rice = ¼ k raw + mix veg
  • 1 ½ k (capsicum, tomato, f. beans, dudhi, cauliflower, ¼ onion)
  • Pav bhaji masala
  • Garam masala
  • Chilli powder
  • Haldi
  • Salt – to taste
  • Ginger – chili paste
  • Hing
  • ¼ tsp jeera
  • Curry leaves
  • ½ tsp oil

Method

  1. Wash all dal, rice & phada.
  2. In a pressure cooker add oil, hing, curry leaves, jeera.
  3. Then add onion, ginger chilli paste & sauté.
  4. Add all veges and dals, mix well, cook for 5-6 mins.
  5. Then add all spices, salt mix well.
  6. Pressure cook.
