Moong And Paneer Soup

Ingredients

  • Paneer (cut into cubes)- 20gms
  • Whole green grams (soaked and cooked moong) – 1/4k
  • Chopped Tomato – 1
  • Spring onions (finely chopped) – 1 tbsp
  • Ginger (chopped) – 1 inch
  • Green chilies (chopped) – 1 to 2
  • Cumin seeds- 1/4th tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Oil- 1/2 tsp

Method

  1. Add the cooked moong and chopped tomato in a grinder to make a smooth puree, add water as required.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seed, spring onion & ginger add green chillies and saute again for another 1 minute.
  3. Add moong puree and allow it to boil. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  4. Add the cubed paneer and simmer for few seconds.
  5. Pour it in a bowl and serve hot.
