Methi Paneer Masala

Ingredients

  • Tofu / paneer – 40 gms
  • Fresh fenugreek/methi (chopped) – ¼ K
  • Onions (finely chopped) – ½ medium
  • 3 colour capsicum + french beans+ tomato – 1k Total (chopped)
  • Asafoetida – a pinch
  • Dried red chillies broken 1
  • Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala-1/4 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste-2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Oil –  ½ tsp

Method

  1. Heat oil, add asafoetida, dried red chillies and saute.
  2. Add cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and mix.
  3. Then add onions and saute for a minute then add all mixed veges, and methi leaves and saute on low heat.
  4. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt.
  5. Add Crumbled paneer and mix well.
  6. Serve hot.
