Masala Khichdi

Ingredients

  • Dalia and yellow moong dal – 1/4 cup total
  • Jeera
  • Ginger chilli paste
  • Curry leaves
  • Water -3/4 cup
  • Salt – to taste
  • Spinach (optional)
  • Chopped capsicum, French beans, dudhi, Cauliflower, Tomato – 1 k
  • Coriander for garnishing
  • ½ tsp ghee

Method

  1. In a pressure cooker add ½ tsp of ghee,  add jeera,  ginger chilli paste, curry leaves and all the chopped vegetables.
  2. Then add the washed dalia and yellow moong dal and pressure cook it using ¾ cup of water for 3 whistles.
  3. As cooked add coriander.
  4. Mix well.
