Kothimbir Wadi

Ingredients

  • Besan  ¼ k
  • Coriander  2 tbsp (cleaned & chopped)
  • Tomatoes 1/2 small (finely cut)
  • Capsicum ¼ small (finely chopped)
  • Dudhi 1/2k (grated)
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger chilli and garlic paste
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Fruit salt ¼ tsp
  • Coriander seed  ¼ tsp
  • Freshly gound black pepper  ¼ tsp
  • Pinch of hing

Method

  1. Finely chop all the vegetables.
  2. Mix all ingredients to make medium (flowing) batter.
  3. Add less water as dhudhi leaves its own water.
  4. Add fruit salt, salt as per taste. Steam (like dhokla) for 10 to 15 min.
  5. Cut in square shape.
  6. Serve hot.
