Exotic Veg Salad


  • ¾ cup mixed lettuce leaves
  • 1 toasted bread (croutons)
  • 1/3 k cucumber
  • ½ cup mixed red
  • Yellow and green bell peppers(chopped)
  • 1 medium tomato (chopped)
  • 1/3k cabbage


  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ¼ k pomegranet
  • ¼ tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp grated garlic
  • Salt to taste


  1. Immerse the chopped lettuce leaves in ice cold water and refrigerate (to keep them crisp).
  2. Mix the vegetables, croutons in a big bowl.
  3. For the dressing, mix all the ingredients in a bottle and shake well to make a thick dressing.
  4. Add the dressing and the lettuce leaves to the bowl of vegetables just before serving.
