Dhanshak

Ingredients

  • Tur dal, Mung dal , Masoor dal, Chana dal – ¼ k mix total
  • Methi
  • Red pumpkin – ¼ cup each
  • Tomatoes – ½ cup
  • G chilies
  • Lemon – Few drops
  • Haldi powder
  • Dhanshak masala
  • Tej
  • Clove
  • Corriander
  • Ginger – 1 small piece
  • Sambhar masala
  • Chilli powder
  • Salt – To taste

Method

  1. In liitle oil add ½ of ginger garlic paste fry & then add chili and haldi pdr.
  2. Mix the dal, pumpkin, salt, water & the remaining ginger garlic paste & cook it. Finely chop the tomatoes.
  3. Heat pan add jeera,  dhanshak & sambar masala ,haldi pwd, chilli powder & other garam masala.
  4. Add pureed dal tomatoes, chillies & coriander leaves.
  5. Cook. Add lemon juice & serve.
