Chola And Moong Dal Dhokla


  • ¼ cup Green gram dal  + chola dal
  • ¼ cup grated dudhi
  • ¼ cup finely chopped  french beans
  • ¼ cup finely chopped methi leaves
  • ½ tsp lemon juice Ginger chili to taste
  • Hing
  • Black pepper few
  • Whole dhana
  • Whole  jeera
  • ½  tsp sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Fruit salt ¼ tsp

Wash and soak the beans dal  for at least 6 hours. Drain. Add little water and blend in a liquidiser to make a smooth batter. Add the spinach, fenugreek, and other ingredients and mix well into a batter. Put the steamer on the gas and when the water in the steamer starts to boil, add the fruit salt into the batter and mix well. Pour the batter into  greased thali, put them in the steamer and steam for 8 to 10 minutes.
