Chilli Tofu

Ingredients

  • Tofu – 80 gms
  • Bell pepper slices – 1kg
  • Baby corn – 2 to 3
  • Spring onions (thinly sliced) – 1/2kg
  • Green chilli minced – 1 no
  • Ground black pepper – ¼ tsp
  • Soy sauce – 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste – ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil –  ½ tsp
  • Coriander for garnish

For the marinade:

  • Corn flour – 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce – 1/2 tsp

Method

  1. Mix the marinade ingredients with enough water to make a paste.
  2. Toss the tofu cubes in it to coat.
  3. Heat the oil in a nonstick pan.
  4. Saute the tofu cubes on all sides until they are golden brown.
  5. Heat the remaining oil, add the ginger, garlic, onion and saute for few minutes.
  6. Now add black pepper, and minced green chilli.
  7. Toss to coat with the spices and then add the bell peppers, baby corn.
  8. After sometime add the tofu cubes and toss them with the spices. Serve.
