Ingredients
- Chana dal – 1/4k
- Grated dudhi – 1/2k
- Turmeric – 1 tsp
- Eno – 1 tsp
- Green chilli paste – 1/4 tsp
- Lemon juice – 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – ¾ tsp
- Coriander for garnishing
- No tempering
For Ameri Khaman:
- Take ready dhokla, grate it
- Add 1/2k grated cabbage & 1/4k pomegranate
Method
- Soak raw chana dal for 4-5 hours.
- Grind it into a smooth paste, add grated dudhi, green chilli paste, lemon juice, salt to taste, water & whisk it to make a smooth batter.
- Just before steaming, add eno & mix.
- Pour mixture on a greased thali.
- Steam for 10-12 mins.
- Cut into pieces & garnish with coriander.
- Serve it with green chutney.
