Ingredients
- Barley (raw) – ¼ k
- Chopped veggies (cabbage, bell peppers, French beans, zucchini, broccoli) – 2k,
- Spring onions chopped – 1 tbsp,
- Garlic chopped – 2 to 3 cloves
- Soy sauce – ½ tsp
- Chilli sauce – ½ tsp
- White pepper powder – a pinch
- Vinegar – ½ tsp
- Oil – ½ tsp
- Water – 1 ½ kg
- Salt to taste
Method
- Pressure cook rice after soaking it for 6 hrs. Add just 2.5 times water of rice quantity.
- Heat oil in a wok, add spring onions and garlic & saute.
- Add the remaining veggies and saute for two minutes.
- Add cooked rice and salt &cook for a minute, stirring it.
- Add soy sauce, white pepper powder and mix thoroughly.
- Add vinegar, mix well and serve hot.
