Bisibelle Rice

Ingredients

  • Rice + tur daal ( ¼ k total)
  • Red pumpkin
  • Drumstick green capsicum
  • Tomato
  • Spring onion (1.5 k total)
  • Tamarind pulp 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder
  • Turmeric
  • Coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil ½ tsp

For Masala

  • Chana + urad (1 tsp total)
  • Red chili
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Coriander seeds
  • Jeera 1 tsp ( roast and grind into a fine powder )

Method

Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add curry leaves, all veggies, and saute. Add red chili powder, and turmeric. Then add rice + tur dal. Sauté for a minute and add tamarind pulp, prepared masala, salt, and water. Mix and pressure cook. Serve immediately.
