Ingredients
- Rice + tur daal ( ¼ k total)
- Red pumpkin
- Drumstick green capsicum
- Tomato
- Spring onion (1.5 k total)
- Tamarind pulp 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder
- Turmeric
- Coriander
- Salt to taste
- Oil ½ tsp
For Masala
- Chana + urad (1 tsp total)
- Red chili
- Cinnamon powder
- Coriander seeds
- Jeera 1 tsp ( roast and grind into a fine powder )
Method
Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add curry leaves, all veggies, and saute. Add red chili powder, and turmeric. Then add rice + tur dal. Sauté for a minute and add tamarind pulp, prepared masala, salt, and water. Mix and pressure cook. Serve immediately.
