Avocado Chickpea Toast


  • 2 slices multi-grain bread
  • ½ ripe Avocado
  • ½ Lime (optional)
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of Pepper powder
  • 3/4 k cup cooked Chickpeas
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • ½ k Tomato finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon smoked Paprika/Chipotle powder
  • Salt as per taste


  1. Heat the Olive oil in a pan, add cooked Chickpeas and stir in for 5 minutes, sprinkle with the smoked Paprika and salt as per taste.
  2. Stir well and add finely chopped Tomatoes and turn off the heat.
  3. Toast the bread until golden and crisp. Scoop out half Avocado & smash it with a fork.
  4. Sprinkle with Lime juice and a pinch of Salt and Pepper powder. Spread it on the bread slice & top up with the warm chickpeas.
