Ingredients
- (3/4 cup Mung dal + ¼ tsp rice) – ¼ cup Total
- Palak puree – ½ cup
- Chopped tomato – ½ cup
- Chopped capsicum & French-beans – ½ cup
- Jeera – ½ tsp
- Cardamom – 1
- Cinnamon-small piece
- Ginger chilli paste – 1 tsp
- Curry leaves – 4 to 5 nos
- Water – 1L
- Small dry red chilli – 1(optional)
- Salt-to taste
- Ghee – ½ tsp
Method
- In a pressure cooker add ½ tsp of ghee, jeera, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger chilli paste.
- Add tomatoes till soft.
- Then add capsicum & French beans and palak puree & cook.
- Then add the washed rice-mung dal and pressure cook it using 1L of water and salt for 3 whistles.
- Turn off the fire.
- Mix well, top with red chilli.
- Serve hot.
