Ingredients
- Roasted Dalia – ¼ k
- Oil 1/2 tsp
- Urad dal ½ tsp
- Rai ¼ tsp
- 1tsp chopped chillies & ginger
- Few curry leaves
- 1 k Vegetables (french beans, carrots, capsicum, onion)
- 1 big tomato chopped
Method
- Soak roasted dalia in warm water for half an hour. strain it & leave it aside.
- Heat oil, add rai & urad dal When it crackles, add chopped onions.
- Fry the onions till they turn golden brown.
- Add curry leaves, chopped chillies ginger, capsicum, beans, carrot.
- Saute all the vegetables for five minutes.
- Make a puree of tomatoes add it to the vegetables.
- Again fry for a minute. Now add salt to taste.
- Now add the dalia. Add 1 cup hot water.
- Keep stirring for few minutes till water is soaked and dalia is cooked.
- Serve with coriander and mint chutney.
